Gayle Nelson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a private psychotherapy practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL since 2014 and a private Healing Touch practice in Wilton Manors since 2008. Gayle works with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, addiction, coping skills, depression, domestic and intimate partner abuse, family conflict, gender non-conforming and body dysmorphic challenges, grief, trauma, self esteem concerns and mind-body awareness. Gayle utilizes traditional clinical practices, while incorporating her training in Heart Centered Therapies, to facilitate deeper work.

Gayle Nelson holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida and holds a B.A. from the University of Florida in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. Gayle completed an additional two-year clinical training and internship in Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy, along with a third year of training and certification as a Personal Transformation Intensive Leader with the Wellness Institute in Seattle, WA. Gayle also holds certification as a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner with Healing Beyond Borders, formerly known as Healing Touch International.
